The surface of a pool is observed from two extreme perspectives; from a height of 10 meters and a depth of 5 meters. The installation shows both videos, combined in a deep space. The video observed from above is projected on the lower half of the space, the video from below projected on the upper half of the space. The shape of the space creates a deformation of the projections, which results in a strange and overwhelming situation.
An adjacent room shows the same video twice: a frontal observation of the bottom of the pool, in which no people are present. The perspective of the bath is clearly visible through the lines in the tile floor. By protjecting the videos in a certain way in the space, the perspective of the pool is broken and simultaneously the experience of the space is affected.
